days lodging and 5 days with Capt. Rick for under
$1400 per person. You can also check some of the other
cottage rentals or hotels on Green Turtle Cay, putting
together your own guided trip. If you are looking
to plan a trip to a remote area with the opportunity to
catch large Bonefish, Permit, Tarpon, and Shark, and even
take a run off shore, Green Turtle Cay in the Abaco's, Bahamas,
is definitely the place, and it won’t break the
bank.
Without
a doubt your guide should be one who is licensed and a native
born guide. You want one who does this full time and knows
where the fish are, or works very hard to find them. When
fly fishing you want a guide that will pole the boat and
get you a shot at the fish. Rather than stake out,
chum up and wait for the fish to show. Your guide should
be one who is not a part time guide. They are learning on
your dime. You want a guide with experience and patience.

Green Turtle Cay is located 180 natuical miles east of West
Palm Beach, Florida. We have major and commuter airlines
offering daily services to Treasure Cay Airport. You can
fly directly from Miami, Fort Lauderdale, Orlando and
West Palm Beach, Florida. A short taxi ride will take
you to the Green Turtle Ferry dock, from there the ferry
will deliver you to the dock nearest your cottage or hotel destination.
